Hello, and welcome! We’re Ken and Bonnie, outdoor enthusiasts and newlyweds calling Bend, Oregon, home.

Our story started in the water... literally. Ken grew up surfing and playing water polo in California, while Bonnie was a Florida rower and competitive swimmer. Decades later, our paths crossed through a shared love of swimming on a local Oregon master’s team, sparking a friendship that naturally flowed into love and a lifetime of adventures together.

We joke that our garage looks more like an outdoor gear store than a home because we just can’t stick to one sport. From swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding to rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking, and snow adventures like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, we embrace the full spectrum of the Pacific Northwest’s seasons.

We’re here to share our adventures, tips, and stories, and inspire you to get outside and explore with us. Whether you’re chasing waterfalls, summiting peaks, or just soaking in a serene lake view, there’s something here for everyone. Come along for the ride!
